Stop MotionMaker Advance Setup

1. Plug in your camera (in this case a Logitec 4000) to the computer and activate Stop MotionMaker.   Then select the ‘Video Setup’ button as shown below. If the system is started up without any working frames and no camera connected, then a ‘size’ panel will be displayed - This can be set to any size up to 2000 width x 1100 height. Please do not mix image sizes within the one project as it can not be processed by the system and will cause errors.  If no camera is being used (images have already been loaded to a folder or from a scanner) then just use the ‘Open’ to import all images (Jpeg, jpg, bmp and some tif) within the selected folder or via the ‘Import/Batch’ tool which will display and allow selected images to be inserted anywhere into the current project, or as single images by selecting ‘Import/Bmp,jpeg,tif and even ripping images from a AVI video by selecting ‘Import AVI’. These import tools can also be used with images imported live from your video camera.

ImageSizeSet02

This Panel will be shown if the application is opened without a camera connected and no working frames.  Set as required, up to 2000 width x 1100 height (designed to fit the largest HDV size). Note:  Images even at  this size become impossible to play back on most computers as a avi movie.

ImportPanel02

Selecting ‘IMPORT/BATCH’ will open this panel, which enables images in the ‘Still Image Holding directory’ to be import (any amount) and placed anywhere within the current project series of frames.  These images can also be previewed before importing to help in selection.
